Hotel suggestions for honeymoon?
Hi there! I've stayed at the Main Gate East a handful of times and, as a standard hotel, I did not have too many problems. Yes, they're very basic and the on-site food offerings are very limited, but they did have a VCR, microwave and refrigerator standard in every room, which were nice ammenities. It's at the end of Irlo Bronson, but you're still in walking distance to Old Town and most of the restaurants and shopping along the strip. The big thing for me was the free shuttle bus service to Disney, which was key. No need to drive there yourself or to worry about parking and taking the tram at the end of the night when the lines to get back to the car are insane. As a child, my family stayed at one of the suites on that same Drive and from what I remember, it wasn't too bad either. October is at the beginning of the off season, so you should be able to get some great deals if you look around.
