Hi

Anyone know of a real good backpack , hopefully one to keep a few water bottles cold as well as holding other things (traveling with a 3-year old)
Thanks!

Jansport makes a really nice backpack with side pockets designed for bottled water or other bottled beverages. It also has a bunch of compartments, and the best part are the straps...they have a special material they call Airlift...it's really spongy and makes a 20 lb. bag feel like a 10 lb. bag...nice for walking with in the parks. I recommend it! Have a great trip!

The bag is the Airlift T236-Odyssey 38, by the way!

Yeah. Jansport makes really nice and comfortable bags. So does.. umm.. oh yeah. Columbia. Both had well padded straps and ease off on the weight. It also just depends on which type of bag you get. Each of these companies offer bags with plenty of pockets, and areas for water bottles.

Have fun on your trip!

Dakine makes really nice backpacks with plenty of straps to take weight off your shoulders. They're mainly for hiking or skiing but they would be good for the parks since they have many pockets and also a container for a Camelbak Water Pouch.
