Gonna try Disney at Halloween...again

We have been to Disney for the Not So Scarey Halloween a few times in the 28 years we have been going to Disney( mostly summer) Last year we were there during hurricane Sandy. We debated the day before whether to go or cancel because RI was expecting to get hit hard. We knew we would get to disney fine but getting back was the problem for us. The flight was like 2 days after the hurricane hit. Flights were being cancelled etc. seems like I spent better part of trip worrying about back home and our flight etc. My wife needed to be back on time. Shes a nurse and they dont kindly to her missing days for any reason. To top it off it was flippen freezing our 3 days there. My wife wore her winter coat every night in the parks. pools were a no go. We did make our flight on time but the trip was nerve wrecking to say least. It WAS our decision to go but AI AT LEAST was expecting to be WARM during the stay. Hopefully this year ( 10/29-11/1) will be more enjoyable.

I hope it's warm for you! End of October is such a crapshoot. Could be hot, warm, cool or cold for the party. One time, we were so cold and it rained all night - most of it was hard rain, too. Such misery.

I think they could do more (and better) decorating. Look at the pics from the China park, Disney! And there could be a little more entertainment...

But I do love MNSSHP. I enjoy seeing all the costumes. I don't Trick or Treat, but for some reason, I like to walk the ToT path from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland, so I do that. The barbershop quartet is a highlight. They look fantastic and do a great job with the songs. Love the parade (except the dumb chicken). I even love the parade music. It's a fun night.

We must have left right before you got there because we we were HOT. We normally go then and have no trouble with weather. And we do trick or treat, fun to get as much candy as possible! I still have the candy bag with a few smarties candies left, reminds me of good times!
