Goldmine at alt.binaries.multimedia.disney.parks

Hey everybody
You're going to be needing to clear out some room on your HD, because somebody is posting some gems in the disney parks newsgroup. There are a ton of files that I've never seen before

- Great Movie Ride score
- Indy Jones Stunt Show score
- AKLodge music loop
- Audio Antics from WoL
- France BGM
- Tracks from Bistro De Paris
- Italy BGM
- Norway BGM
- and much, much more....

And the guy's not even half-way done yet. He's only on track 73 out of 204.

Edit #1:
- The different version of the Canada BGM posted here is different from the one everyone else has. I have reason to believe that this is the correct loop for the pavilion, because it has recognizable songs that were clearly missing from the previous version of the loop.

I also forgot to add the following to the music list:
- Morocco BGM
- Japan BGM
- Mission Space BGM
- TTBAB show

So far, it sounds like everything I've downloaded is source-quality audio. Simply amazing stuff...

- Buzz Lightyear speech (from queue), and ride music
- Resort monorail loop (the previous version. not the new one)
- Resort TV / DVC / WDW Today

IF you have newsgroup access, you NEED to get these. In my years of downloading WDW sounds/music, I've never seen some of these, or the versions I've downloaded before have been wrong, incomplete, or live versions. The vast majority of files here are source-quality.

Agreed. DigitalDisney or someone with newsgroup access, would it be possible for you to upload them onto your servers?

I didn't grab everything that was available (some was from disneyland, and others were duplicates), but I did get everything that I listed + more.

I don't have a server of my own, so the best that I could do is drop everything on the DC upload server. The problem is that I have close to 2.5GB worth of stuff that I could upload. If it's okay with PopKid, then I'll go ahead and start the madness.

Edit:
I just checked the DC upload server, and the files there are reasonably large. Therefore, I'm going to upload a small batch of stuff right now. The current files are:
- Great Movie Ride scores
- Disneyland Resort TV 2002
- Sounds Dangerous - Undercover Live
- Sounds Dangerous - Soundsations
- Indy Jones Stunt Show - Score (I believe that this is load music, scene music, and unload music)
- Indy Jones Stunt Show - Medley (Sounds like the first scene)

There may be more to come soon...

I agree, disneyfanatic has been posting a ton of great stuff to A.B.M.D.P!! I'm in awe, for sure.

I've been grabbing just as much as I can, and serving it all up over at #Disney-Central (check out !nigel_themeparks).

Well, you need USENET newsgroup access. Many ISPs provide access as part of your service, so you'll probably want to check with them first. If they have zero, or limited access, you'll want to sign up and pay for service with an outside firm. There are several to choose from, including Giganews (giganews.com).

Once you've got your account all set up (your newsgroup provider should have information about what programs to use, etc) and you're online, just look for alt.binaries.multimedia.disney.parks!

I'm sure more folks will be more than happy to fill in any gaps, as I know I've only scratched the surface here.

I uploaded just about everything to the #DC upload server. Hopefully some of the file servers will be getting the files soon (if they don't have them already).

The quality of the material varies a lot. Some of it sounds like a clean recording (like my Wonders of Life BGM), and others are a little dirtier (I'm pretty sure I can hear some birds in the Morocco BGM), and others are definately source quality.

Either way, there's a TON of new material that we've never had before. Enjoy.
