Based on the map, that doesn't appear to be the Disney Golden Oak development. I think it's too far East and North...

I could be wrong though.

Hm....everything except the map points to this being a Disney Golden Oak home. Maybe the map is wrong? The Golden Oak development is along Bay Lake, pretty close to Fort Wilderness.

The entrance to Golden Oak is right at the north end of Bonnet Creek Pkwy. This property is about 2.5 miles north-east. At least that's what google earth shows.

Yeah i think the map placing where the house is wrong. It currently has is pointing to a house in the middle of the golf course at grand cypress. which means construction would have had to be going on during the LPGA championship last December. Im pretty sure golden oaks is supposed to be between bay lake and south lake on that map

Considering the current housing market and foreclosure crisis, I would have to say that the price is a bit extreme. Even if it is just because of the fact that you are living on Disney property it is still ridiculous. You can go a few miles away to Windermere and buy a beautiful home for half the price...God knows there are plenty for sale.

Maybe these developers have a crystal ball and can see into the distant future...but this current housing crisis we are in has a long road ahead of it.
I think it's pretty safe to say that folks buying at Golden Oaks are entirely unaffected by the housing crisis. If I had $3.5Mil in the bank, I wouldn't be buying there, but with $20Mil+, I wouldn't bat an eye.

And no, I currently don't have either... :(

I think the software on that site pulls the address information from the listing to create the map. Since there is no address and just a zip code it shows the location of the center of the zip code.
