Gold Pass and Photopass

Has anyone used their Gold Pass to get access and download their photos? My family of four all have purchased Gold Passes and my parents are not members and have purchased individual MYW tickets but are staying on my reservation.

I am curious as to how everyone's experience has been with obtaining their photos or if there are any best practices to consider?

The pass I have now is the same as the old AP and we were told that when getting photos we should use my magic band but the rest of my party rode Splash Mt. & Rock n Roller Coaster without and their ride pictures showed up on my photo pass. Using the app on the phone the photos showed up very quickly. I say let your parents try getting a picture and see if it appears on your photo pass app.

Do you manage their MDE profiles or do they have their own MDE account?

They have their own mde account and they are on our reservation.

As long as they are connected friends in your Family & Friends list, you should be able to see and download any pictures linked to their MagicBands.

For their entries in your Family & Friends list, you should see something similar to the image below. If it says you manage their profile under their name, you are not connected to their MDE account.
