Gold Castaway member and first time Disney cruiser

I'm a Gold Castaway Club member and will be cruising on the Wish with a friend who hasn't cruised on Disney before.

I know this has been asked before but I can't seem to find the threads on it. I know I can book port adventures and stuff 105 days out provided we're all paid off, but what about my friend?

I'm kinda embarrassed because I feel I should know this after taking 6 cruises, but then this hadn't come up before, I've usually been solo or where this wasn't an issue.

I read that all the people in the same stateroom get the benefits of the top-ranked person. So your friend is as good as gold!

The Castaway Club benefit level―Silver, Gold or Platinum―is determined by the Guest with the highest membership level in the stateroom. All Guests staying in the same stateroom will enjoy that member’s benefit level for the duration of the cruise.
