Going with Family and Friends....

Now this wont be my first time to wdw, actually it will be my 10th. But it will be my first time going with both my family(my mom and dad,and my two younger sisters who will be 13 and 10 at the time were going) and my friends( 3 Seniors in High school). We already decided that we are going to stay at Pop Century and Go during April Vacation 2010(we've been during April break before and know how to handle crowds). We are also planning on getting 2 rooms and staying for 9 nights.

I know Disney Hasn't come out for their 2010 prices yet but does anyone know like a ballpark price it would be per person if we are dividing the price of the hotel by 3 people and NOT FLYING!? I tried Calculating it and i came up with about $1,300 per peron including the drive down From Mass

Also, the main reason why i made this thread, Has anyone went with both your friends and family? My friends are pretty close with my family so it shouldn't be too big of a deal but i do want to spend some time with just my family. and other times with just my friends. For example, i want to have a picture with Mickey with just my family. Which attractions are better to ride as a whole group of 8 and which should be conquired by just us seniors?

Also one thing to note, One of my friends hasn't gone to WDW since she was 4 and barely remembers it. So depending on how much of a disney freak she becomes, will pretty much determin if she wants to ride peter pans flight of if she'd rather be at Blizzard Beach.

Any advice is helpful.

Disney releases the vacation packages around August for the following year.
But if you're only making room-only reservations, you can make them now, but you have to do it over the phone, and they'll be based on this year's prices. When room prices for next year are finalized, they'll adjust your reservation's pricing.
