Going to the world the first week of December.

Our last visit was for Christmas in 2012, we were there for christmas week itself, and braved the mass crowds... This time we are coming the first week of December, which is the week following Thanksgiving.

What can we expect for crowds?

Should be fairly light. I love that week and have our next trip with just the wife and I on Dec 7-11. I'm pumped! We've been there twice on that week and almost everything is quick to get on.

We visited the 2nd week in Dec a few years ago and crowds were light. I don't recall waiting very long for any rides. The weather was nice too. I think it only rained once and was over really quick.

That is great to hear! Our last visit was very hectic (in a related story, my mother fell and broker her arm on Main Street on Christmas day...). We love Christmas time at Disney so this should be a better, hoepfully.

We went the second week of Dec in 2012, and the crowds were not bad. This year, we're going the same week as you. We *loved* WDW at Christmastime, so we're really looking forward to this trip!

Ya that first week of Dec is usually on the crowd lists as one of the best times to go, however, they usually hve that week blocked out for the free dining promotion...

We were there December 1-8 this past year & thought that the crowds were a bit heavy. (comparing this to June & September) We had Magic bands but, were able to double dip so, I don't know how it would be without being able to do this. POP Warner started arriving on the 5th so, that may have contributed to the crowds later in the week!? The beginning of the week may have had the crowds due to people extending their Thanksgiving weekend!?
