T minus 40 minutes and counting. I have high hopes for this Disney Channel original. Looks like the story and plot is good. Anyways, when it's over, let me know how you liked it.:)

I thought it was alright. It failed to catch my attention at some parts, but it was still good. Looks like Disney Channel Original movies may be getting the axe soon. It went from every month, to every 2 months, and now, it's March, and the next one coming out is in summer:(

Well, maybe its a good thing that original movies are being spaced out because maybe they'll take more time on them and they'll be much better.

Nope, not at all. Disney Channel cut down the number of original movies from 12 a year to six a couple years back to free up more money for original series. But the original movies are here to stay.

I thought "Going to the Mat" was excellent -- a notch above most Disney Channel movies. No wonder it got unusually good reviews from critics.

Yeah, Britney and Lynne Spears are executive producers on the ABC Family movie "A Mother's Gift", based on the book they wrote together a couple years back. Incidentally, ABC Family's original movies are now being developed by Gary Marsh and Michael Healy, the executives in charge of Disney Channel's original movies, although "Celeste in the City" and the Britney movie were in development before they took over.

This one looks okay, I might check it out tonight. Disney Channel Original Movies have declined a lot IMO, the only good ones i've seen are The Luck of the Irish, Smart House, Jett Jackson: The Movie, and Hounded. And they all came out a long time ago. But of course, the best Original movie ever was Johnny Tsunami. :D

Most of those movies would rank on the very bottom of my favorites list. And I have to disagree -- I think Disney Channel Original Movies have improved a lot recently. They're certainly getting higher ratings, better critical reviews and more award nominations then they used to.

I have enjoyed most of the latest original Disney Channel movies. Going to the Mat was inspiring, but it wasn't that funny. I'm not saying it had to be but movies need some humor. I like Kirsten Storms and the Zenon movies, but I'm scared about how far out they're going to make Z3. The second movie was a little strange so I guess we'll just have to wait.

Ah, Jett Jackson and The Jersey. Classics I say. Unfortunately, the are only played in the early morning anymore, like today, Jett Jackson is at 2:30am, and The Jersey at 4am.
