I must be going nuts, my wife is going out of town for the 4th and after dropping her at the airport the kids and I are going to EPCOT for the day. Has anyone tried this before with young kids and survived, any ideas or suggestion would be great. :brick:

Assuming they are all old enough to wander on their own power...

Get them started around World Showcase at the KidCot stations. These are craft tables set up in each country, the kids can make their own craft and add to it in each country. Maelstrom and Rio del Tiempo are great rides along the way.

Depending on their heights, various rides in Future world.

Depending on DD4 height and everyone else for that matter, there shouldn't be too many rides at epcot that can't be done. You might consider a stroller or even a double stroller to help keep them from running to the first thing that catches their eye. Haven't tried the kidcot suggestion, I might have to try that out for DS5 this year.

Oh, and patience! Lot's and lot's of PATIENCE!!

We have been several times over the past few years but have never tried kidcot. I remember seeing them back in 2000 but I have never noticed them since. I know the crowds will be tough so I plan on getting a seat at the resturant accross from mexico for the fireworks. Any idea how early I need to get there before the seats fill up by the rail.

3 kids at disney on the second most crowed day of the year good luck last year the lines for sorin/track were like 2-3+hrs long defently stick with the
kid-kot idea and get there early to try to get a fast pass for one of the top rides

I've gone with my 3 before by myself, but never on such a busy day. If you've got good kids, its feasible. Anyone acts up or starts to wander off just tell them it's time to go home. Just be sure to take advantage of the shows in the middle of the day because they take larger crowds and tend to move faster than ride lines. Good luck:wave:

Good luck!

I'll take pity if i see you ;) I should be in and out of Epcot today.

If you stick to moving lines, like Spaceship Earth, Energy, and El Rio your kids should survive and you should too. Just realize you can't do M:S, TT, and Soarin' all today without a serious headache.
