Going on Spring Break trip- need help with ADRs

So I will be going on a Spring Break trip next year to WDW, and I'm hoping to reserve a time for Be Our Guest at lunch. However, the ticket situation is going to be a nightmare- there's no way for me to get the ticket since the group never gives us the actual ticket, which means no reserving in advance. I'm wondering how this will affect my ability to reserve things. Has anyone ever done anything similar on a group trip that has advice or does anyone have tips as to what I should do?

You don't need a ticket to book any restaurant reservation (but you do need a credit card). You can book dining up to 180 days from your arrival date.

Fastpasses are a different story since you will need a ticket to select them in advance.

Thanks, I didn't know that was possible! Do they charge your credit card then and there?

You do not need a ticket to book an ADR, and as Tuvalu said, they will only charge your card if you don't show up for the reservation. There are some restaurants that will charge your card up front (like Cinderella's Royal Table), but BOG will not charge for lunch or dinner.
