Going in June

My family and I are going to WDW june 18th - 26yh. I don't think I'll ever make it until then. We are staying at the CBR. Any opinions on this resort? It's our second time at WDW,but the first at CBR as well as the first time in summer. Any advice about beating the heat and crowds? How bad is it really? People are freaking me out about it. I tell them I don't care when or how I get there. WDW is always worth it!!:sohappy:

Well first off the CBR is very nice....rooms are decent size, a pretty good food court and a nice pool.....and it really gives you the feeling that your in The Bahamas or Jamacia.

As for the summer....In Florida during the summer it is usually pretty hot throughout the day with short spurts of rain in the afternoon....definitly drink alot of water.

As for the crowds....you should definitly make good use of fastpass...decide what things you really want to do (it will just stress you out if you try to do everything in one day) and try and do them early in the morning or late in the afternoon...also if you can get a park hopper....and if its really crowded everywhere go to epcot..of all the parks it has the largest guest area.....

We since you are from up north it will feel hotter then he!!.

But I have stayed at the CBR and it is a great resort.

Here is a map for your family to see before the trip. Try to stay in Aruba, building #51, it is the best building. I loved walking across the bridge, and through the "zoo" to get a cup of coffee early in the mornings.
