Augh. I am so happy that I am moving to an apartment in 3 days and saying goodbye to collegiate dorm life. Currently, I am trying to write a paper for my seminar -- and outside, and all night performance is taking place with MASSIVE amplification. I am on the 14th floor of a high-rise... the windows are all closed (and the heat is a killer tonight)... and I can hear every word clearly!
I've already complained to the event organizer and a member of the security staff. Looks like NYPD may be next. AUGH!!!!!!!!!
As if it's not clearly stated EVERYWHERE in event scheduling literature that amplification in not allowed at night!
