Going 7/1 to 7/5

Hey everyone. Last month, I booked a trip to Disney World from 7/1 to 7/5. I've been to Disney World 10+ times, but I've never been during 4th of July Weekend/Week. I was wondering if any of you had been there during that time. I've been on New Year's Eve Day and Christmas Day when the park has had to close. Does it get that full during this time of the year?

I too was there last 4th and again will be there for the 4th. Last year was our first time being there on the 4th, before we always avoided that day due to crowds. We planned on being at the MK all day to make sure we were there for the fireworks and did hear that the park closed due to capacity. We also heard throughout the day that it reopened briefly when people left. This year we arrive on the 4th and havent decided where we will spend the evening but plan on heading over to mk around 11 pm till they close at 1am.
