Remember that awful 1998 version of Godzilla starring Matthew Broderick? Remember how it pretty much butchered everything sacred about the classic movie monster? Well finally that horrible film can be put to rest, as a 2014 reboot is upon us. Hopefully this new version set to be released next May will give the renowned monster some dignity & respect once more. If the first teaser trailer is any indication...I think they got it right this time. See for yourself:

Thank you for sharing that clip. Will reserve judgment until I actually see the film, but it looks like it has potential. The classic 1954 Godzilla is a tough act to follow!
As a side note, I bought a Godzilla t-shirt (with some other great classic, old goomers on it as well) at the gift shop in the Japan pavillion at Epcot last spring. Not sure if they still carry these, but thought I'd mention it for other Godzilla fans out there.

Even Godzilla cannot touch the epic levels of fine acting, lifelike special effects, and soul-gripping plotlines found in Sharknado.

I know! Why on earth did the Godzilla producers waste their female lead role on some critically acclaimed actress like Elizabeth Olsen when Tara Reid was available?
Also the dad from Home Alone could have totally been the guy explaining the mission at the beginning of the trailer.
Exactly. And considering the lead role is of Godzilla himself, I think both choices would be rather inappropriate.
