'GMA' Going Live at Pentagon

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) -- ABC's "Good Morning America" will broadcast live from inside the Penta-gon on Sept. 9, the first time a morning show has done so for an entire show, the network said. Diane Sawyer and Charles Gibson will interview Secretary of Defense Donald L. Rumsfeld, senior military and administration officials and other newsmakers. Joining Sawyer and Gibson for the two-hour telecast are correspondents Claire Shipman, Martha Raddatz, who covers the State Department, and others. Also, country singer Alan Jackson will sing live "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)," his response to the events of Sept. 11, 2001. GMA will tour the Pentagon for viewers, and the show will also pay tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks on that building.
