Gluten Free Eating in WDW

We took my grandson who is allergic to gluten and beef two years ago.. The best place was Ohana. The Chef came out and talked directly to my grandson, age 5, to see what he would like. She then made sure he got every thing and more!!! The worst place was the Rose and Crown. His meal came with 7 small french fries! We were shocked and asked the server about this and was told this was all that came with the meal. We had to order another order of fries for a total of 20 small fries!!! Plus we paid 4.00 above the meal price. And yes we actually counted the fries! He also like Pop Century's pizza.

Overall they do their best to accommodate. At any CS location, ask to see the book/talk with the manager to find out ingredients and what they can do for you. It may simply be the same burger/hot dog except served on an Udi's (or similar bun). You won't find any "hidden menu" type items, but rather a substitution for a GF free portion (like the rolls). Any TS location, ask to talk to the chef. (If you tag your ressie as allergy they are required to come out to talk to you) Things like french fries can be tough as most locations don't have a dedicated frier and they share with breaded products. Definitely suggest reading the link @Sweet Melissa provided, that shows you what you may be able to get.
