glow ears

I purchased a hat with the glow ears blinking last night at HS. I specifically asked if they work outside of the park and was told "YES". But after we left the park, they stopped working. I can turn them on at the resort, but they just blink a few times and go dark. Do they just work in the parks, or did I get one with a mostly dead battery??

I really wish they would only work outside the park. Nothing more annoying than trying to watch a show or parade and some moron wears those things right in front of you, like a strobe blinking right in your face.

And those twirly light up things and glow sticks they sell to everyone before Fantasmic. I always seem to have obnoxious tykes sit right in front of me, waving them right in my face throughout the show. I dont mind kids having fun but their parents should at least watch how their kids are waving them around and ruining my experience.

I don't recall asking if they annoyed you, just whether or not I had a bad battery....geez.

Can you replace the battery on those things?

They didn't have them last time we went. I'm sure my wife will want to get some. I fully plan on hitting up amazon for some glow necklaces and bracelets to shove in the bag so i don't have to spend 30 bucks a night on light up crap.

Amazon tube of 100 8" bands scored for $12 before our last visit.

We used them as bracelets or necklaces over 3 nights - money well spent, plus no one else had the exact same kind, we were special.

Also, helps you recognize your party members at night with ease.

Yep! I'm a DJ and I keep these in stock for school dances and some wedding receptions. I get all mine from Amazon. Even though we're 29 & 24, I know we'll have a blast with them!

Geez... The post before me (that disappeared, that I was responding to, not your post) mentioned about the annoyance of the strobe like lights. So I continued on about the twirling lights too. So I was not responding to YOUR post about batteries!!!
