Gift Shop Item Turnover?

When I went to Disneyworld in 2013, there were a lot of the same items, in the gift shops, as when I went in 2012.

Does anyone know if they have changed some of the items? Such as coffee mugs, ect...

They change all the time really, the yearly promotional items with the year stamped on them stay all year then are gone.
Resort items change a lot too. Just this past March we were at the beach club, returned 3 weeks ago and it was all new themed
beach club Merchandise. Same with the Animal Kingdom Lodge, They had one theme In March and it changed somewhere between then and 3 weeks ago.
Pins seem to linger around more now, I could still get epcot 30 pins this past march if I wanted one, Also this past Sept I could still get pins from spring celebrations and 4th of july, this excludes limited editions that people flock for though.

So if there is something you really want, don't hesitate, chances are its gone by the next time you go, especially this long ago

They will occasionally migrate during the season and then find their way to the outlet stores..I remember I forgot to pick up a shirt on a January trip I went on. When I came back in November I was happy to find it at the Character Warehouse outlet for half the price..

We used to have a "Character Warehouse" down here in Southwest Florida (Estero, FL) at Miromar Outlets. My wife and I went in there and bought old Disney MGM Clapper Director Boards for $5/piece and E-bayed them for $25/piece a few years ago. It was a good way to make some $$$ to fund a quick weekend. :)

Sure, youll see new things and old. But it seems every time I go I come back wishing I'd gotten a particular item that I hadnt picked up, the next trip its nowhere to be found. There are other sites that you can go on that show upcoming / new items that Disney will be selling in the parks.
