gift cards at disney springs

Hi
Does anyone know if any/many/all/none of the shops and restaurants in Disney springs accept Disney gift cards? If not, are they able to charge stuff on your magic band to your disney resort hotel room? (meaning I could pay it off with the gift card that way.)
My children have been given some cards as gifts and as part of our booking we also get a gift card free. Just wondering how it works with the non disney stores being on a disney owned site?

My understanding / way of looking at it is as follows:

If you can book the restaurant via the Disney website then they are suppose to have to accept Disney gift card. (Or Free Disney Disney credits too).

With the stores, your best bet is....if it sells nothing but Disney...you should be able to use Disney Gift cards (as they tend to be official Disney stores like the Christmas store, the cooking store, the art store, the pin hut store, the fashion store, I am pretty sure arribas bros accepts Disney gift cards). The further away from the World of Disney you are the less likely the store will take a Disney gift card as well. I don't have a list of stores but until some one finds one...should help

Fantastic. Thanks for taking the trouble to reply! Looks like I will be having to fund a little extra spending money when my girls hit the stores in Disney springs! Nothing new there .......
