It’s hard keeping all these cynical rehashed garbage movies sorted out but this is Sony trash, not to be confused with Disney trash. Same genre, different flavor.

This is great! We finally get a new bad guy ghost and hopefully a new story that doesn't mirror Ghostbusters 2. Dan Aykroyd looks healthier. Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts still look young. Bill Murray looks like a mummy. I'm surprised they got him again.

Afterlife was a financial hit, particularly when considering when it came out (It outgrossed Encanto in theaters) and had a smaller budget. Home video and streams were VERY good for it and it was well received. Sony is very healthy right now. Ghostbusters has broad appeal.

I really think Deadpool will not do as well as expected. It just feels played out. Wolverine will help but Reynolds needs a new gimmick. It will probably do better than GB.

Its budget also likely a good amount higher than GB Frozen Empire. So it is somewhat relative.
