Ghost Pages

When I view some threads the page count shows 1-4 more pages than actually exist. When you click for example Page 1234 when the last reply is on page 1232 it takes you right back to 1232. Any cause known?

That's happened to me once today. It only said the thread had one more page though, I was on page 10 and it said there was 11. Every time I clicked on 11 though, it just reloaded page 10...

It's a bug in the forum software. Posts that have been deleted or removed from view (such as when a user is banned) are still visible to mods and remain in the post count. The software calculates the number of pages in a thread based on that post count rather than the number of posts a regular user can actually view which causes some threads to end prematurely.
