Ghost Hunters, at the Haunted Mansion...

Considering all the rumors of different ghost sightings at both Haunted Mansion attractions - no pun intended, but I do find that statement hilarious  - I think that the crew from the television show “Ghost Hunters,” should do an episode at the attractions. If you think about it from all the different aspects, it’s really a cool idea. The publicity for Disney and the show, the size of the attractions would be extremely spooky, and plus, they turn all the lights off in the show anyway, so you wouldn’t be exposing any “magic” making techniques. If you watch the show, imagine the jokes that’d be cracked by Jay and Grant, or Steve and Tango.

Grant: Jay, think about it, we’re actually in a Haunted Mansion.
Jay: Yeah. Whoa, that’s weird.
Grant: What?
Jay: The busts actually follow you!

:ROFLOL:

Steve: Tango! Look!
Tango: What?!
Steve: A guy in a coffin! Ew, you can see the hand!

Doubtful it’d be "successful," though it’d be an awesome episode. Any thoughts?

I'd normally keep an idea to myself, in fear that'd it'd be taken, but I hope this one is. I just want to see this episode. :sohappy:

I'd watch it! I've heard so many stories of Disney rides being haunted, they should do a show a few of them. It probably would rope in a lot of viewers.

Don't you mean suckers?

What, you don't find a bunch of guys wearing night vision and running around screaming "DID YOU SEE THAT???!!!" to be realistic?

I didn't believe in Ghosts either until I watched Ghost Hunters for a prolonged amount of time. If you watch you'll find that A: They don't go to these places to try and PROVE "hauntings" they go to try and disprove them, and usually they do. They've really pioneered awareness of the "Fear Cage" scenario that has accounted for most of their investigations recently, where Elctro-magnetic Fields from wires and cabling are being put out in dangerous levels. This makes people around them feel paranoid, sick, or generally spooked. If you take into account that they disprove legends, Ghost Stories, and Oft-seen sightings at MOST of the places they investigate, and are extremely exhaustive in reviewing and debunking possible evidence, you'll see that they aren't in it to "fool" anybody. I've seen them in person, and can guarantee you that they're on the level. They talked about many of the other shows and teams out there...not so honest. I'm not saying that you should release all skeptism, I think that's something even better to have when watching the show. It's not like they force you into believing anything, often I have questioned their interruption or opinion about evidence, but they don't claim anything when they put it forward. They work very hard to dissprove false information, and put forward good, solid, mysterious, evidence of strange activty.

And with the amount of evidence I've seen, I think it's incredibly safe to say SOMETHING is going on that needs to be investigated further. But besides what people think about "Ghosts" what I really care about is slandering them as Hoaxers. It's really Biased and Unfair.

Bottom line is, don't be a Walter Peck.

If you want real paranormal evidence and footage watch Ghost Adventures on Travel Channel. The main guy may be a bit annoying (thank god he looks good) but they go to extreme lengths to get evidence and they get it. Ghost Hunters gets good evidence and footage every now and then but I constantly get annoyed with them and how they talk abut the investigations saying the same common sense things over and over. :brick:
But an investigation in HM would be cool, They would need to remove the doom buggies like they did for Sandy Duncan and Ruth Buzzi when they sang Fortuosity in the California mansion.

There is a difference between a skeptic and a cynic. When there is something more concrete than an EMF meter fluctuation...which can be caused by number of things....I will believe. Until then I will follow Akums Razor and ask for proof and erroneous readings are not proof.

Like, ALL of their best evidence is Video not the "Fluctuations", those can be pretty strange. (See EMF Put in Place, responding to questions.) And those EMF readings I was talking about is a theory AGAINST paranormal activity, an EXPLANATION to feelings of dread or being watched if you read what I wrote or read about that theory they've explained on investigations alot.

Have you seen the St. Augustine Lighthouse footage? Pretty strong. I've been there, RIGHT where they caught that crazy anomaly, and there's no way I can refute it.

Is it proof in Ghosts? No. But in my opinion, they've caught enough crazy things to say that there's some kind of factor at work that is beyond what we understand right now.

GREAT story. The people: Me, My Family. The Place: Car driving down Back Alley in old St. Augustine past lonely graveyard. Time: LATE HALLOWEEN NIGHT.

The radio is on as we are extremely spooked driving in said old creepy part on Halloween night. As we drive past the Graveyard, the henceforth clear Radio Channel goes to STATIC.

Then reappears as soon as we pass it.

:lookaroun

Sure, it had to be because of a nearby Radio Tower, but still...
