It's long gone. They cleared out that soundstage for the Twister attraction.

They recently had a New Ghostbusters dance review that was pretty funny, but I'm not sure if they still have it.

I was at Universal and IOA in November and I don't remember seeing ANYTHING Ghostbusters, I even went back and looked at the map from Nov I kept and nothing was mentioned.

I do hate it when they take away my old favs. :(

We first visited USF in 94 and watched Ghostbusters - it was brilliant. Come to think of it USF was brilliant then, boy has it gone downhill since then

I really miss the old Ghostbusters show. Everything about it was just so intelligent. The pre-show and the main show.

Hopefully the property will see a resurgance soon and we can get something better.

I liked the old Ghostbusters show a lot. I also remember the newer one they brought back that involved Beetlejuice messing around with a newer generation of Ghostbusters, forcing them to dance.

I don't think they'll ever bring the Ghostbusters brand back as a main feature unless it somehow comes back into pop culture, like a new movie.

it's possible...the new movie that is. Ghostbusters: The Video game, which is basically like a third movie, comes out in October of this year.

But the way Universal acts is, when they say out with the old it means OUT. I'm surprised BttF is still featured somewhere in the parks.

And Ghostbusters will always be in pop culture. Aska nyone "who ya gonna call?" and they know what to say.

Universal's contract to host GhostBuster stuff ran out a tad more than a year ago. They can still do several things related to the movie, but for the most part, most GhostBuster stuff won't be seen at Universal.

I do agree though, the GB attraction was much better than Twister. After all, "We came, we saw, we kicked this ghost's A$$!"

I can't believe they replaced Ghostbusters with TWISTER!! I mean, don't get me wrong. I liked the movie Twister but I never thought it was worth an attraction. Nor did I think it was worth replacing something as timeless and nostalgic as Ghostbusters. Ah well. What are you gonna do?

I remember we went the first week it was open...Jaws, Kong, and Earthquake weren't working so they gave us a free pass..I also remeber along with ghostbusters that they had a Hard Rock Cafe in the shape of a Guitar..whatever happened to that..and what ever happened to Nickelodeon Studios?

The Hard Rock building is still there but is no longer used. Nick Studios closed in '05 and Soundstage 18 became the Sharp Aquos Theatre which currently houses the Blue Man Group show.

They don't do anything with the old Nick Studios anymore? A shame.

Let's see, what shows did they film there?

I think:

Clarissa Explains it All
What Would You Do

any others?

The Nick Studios are gone completely. It's now the Sharp Aquos Theater.

What I KNOW was filmed in Orlando:

Legends of the Hidden Temple
Guts
All That
Double Dare (Regular and Family)
Roundhouse

What I THINK was filmed in Orlando:
Nick Arcade

Most of the game shows were in Orlando

Wild-n-Crazy Kids was in California, I believe.
The Secret World of Alex Mack, the Adventures of Pete and Pete and Are You Afraid of the Dark I think we in California (Pete and Pete might have been "On Location" somewhere.) You Can't Do That On Television was filmed in Canada.

Also, "Family Guts" will be filmed in Orlando, I think in SS 22 or 23. James would probably know about that more than I would though.

22 is being used for HHN. I swear I read that they weren't doing houses in 23 this year because of Guts using it but I can't remember where I saw that. The original was filmed in 21.

I remember seeing the Agro Crag one time when I was touring the Soundstages. I really need to get backstage again, as I've lost track of which soundstage is which. I remember 21 is the biggie on IoA side where Screamhouse was. SS 18 held Ghost Town (right in front of the Boneyard).

It's gonna be weird getting to the Soundstages once Triple R is open.

Wow, that's a lot of shows!

I remember Pete and Pete, some of that show was filmed here in NJ I've been told. The younger Pete lives, or lived, in NJ. Friends of mine have seen him around.

Nick Arcade was filmed in FL? How long was that show on for? I remember it being around in the 80's when I was just a kid. Great show.

Hi Honey, I'm Home. Loved that show. The daughter was so beautiful in it, I used to tape it and watch it all the time, this was back in my high-school days.

Fifteen was an awesomely bad show. Ryan Renolds was on it. I used to watch that all the time too, as corny as this sounds, I miss that show.

Teacher to Teacher with Mr. Wizard- was this a newer series they made? I remember that show being around when I was a kid in the 80's, I always wanted to be on that show, Mr. Wizard seemed so cool.

Though this wasn't filmed in the Nick Studios, You Can't Do That On Television was one of the greatest shows ever!

Doug was pretty cool too back when it was on Nickelodeon.

Are You Afraid of the Dark was a great show. They had a great episode about the Headless Horseman and Ichabod Crane once, and a great episode about Nosferatu the vampire.

So from the original opening...Nickelodeon Studios, Ghost Busters, King Kong, Earthquake, Back to The Future (Even though I don't remember this being there when if first opened) and Hanna Barbera ride have all gone the way of the Coo Coo...wasn't there a Beatle Juice show as well?
