We were thinking about staying at the GF Concierge Level. Is it worth it? What all does it really include? Thank you :)

In my opinion it is. I love the GF concierge level. The main building is much better than the outer building in my opinion. You have continental breakfast in the am, with a fabulous coffee machine that gives you lattes, etc. During the day you have snacks, then at dinner time you get different appetizers followed by cheeses with wine and beer.

I love club level at WDW, period. I have been totally spoiled now since I started booking it a few years ago. I'm sure GF's is outstanding!

It's not, technically, concierge. You don't get an actual concierge staff. It's Club Level, with everything typical to club level.

If you don't know what Club Level is, you get continental breakfast, snacks, pop, beer, wine and appetizers. At dinner, they usually do a little extra, but it's not like a real meal.

You can call their staff (or stop by and request) dining reservations. You can also call Disney Dining, if you want.

They'll help you make tour reservations and have info about Disney World. You cn ask their opinions, but they'll never say that something sucks.

They do turn-downs and deliver packages bought in the parks to your room.

If they're around, they might ask you where you're going and tell you to have fun. When you get back, they might ask where you went and if you had a good time.

Check-in is supposed to be easier with club level, but isn't always. Sometimes, it's harder.

I think that's everything.

Only you can decide if it is "worth it" to you. :)

Thanks :) I knew what the gist of it was, just didn't know if I was missing something.

Oh, and just a general question: Is your room on the club level floor, or do you have a key to access that floor in the elevator?

I don't remember. If I did, I didn't have trouble with it. I only remember the places where I had elevator key issues, lol. (Beach Club, BWI and Poly...well, Poly wasn't elevator, but still had trouble.)

I don't like that key business, either, but I *think* you have to deal with it for all the club level rooms. Maybe they switched to wristbands, which might be better. :)

We did Club level at AKL and although it was nice I don't know if I would ever pay rack rate for it again. You just get a few extra things to eat and some drinks. We used it mainly for breakfast. The snacks/dessert in the afternoon/evening were hardly worth the walk from the room.

Given that, you can stay Club Level at AKL by renting DVC points at a significant discount compared booking a Club Level room.

GF has two club levels. Royal Palm is in the Main Building (and thus costs more) and Sugarloaf is in an outer building. Your room may or may not be on the floor where the lounge is located in both instances. And yes you will have a special key.

I added the concierge Guest level for my Paradise Pier stay during the holidays. I would probably not pay for it ever again. I recommend you call and ask for the club level daily times. They opened every morn after the time we would need to be gone for the magic morns and closed before we returned in the evening. I think it was 6:30a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Unless you plan to return for those times it is a waste. They also hid the bottled water and made us ask for a bottle every time. The person at the desk did I pretty good job of ignoring everybody except for the Good Morning as you entered and Have a nice day as you exited. Other than that I kept wondering what was so important on that computer screen they needed to monitor all the time.

Is it worth it? You betcha.

If you're making your way back to the room for a mid-afternoon breather or trip to the pool or something like that, it's nice to just swing by and grab a drink or two. If I could get those chips they make sent to me via some sort of mail delivery system, I would be in heaven
