It’s customary to provide free chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants, but now that we are the Magic, they won’t be free at San Angel Inn. No more free chips and salsa. Now you have to ask, they charge you $6, and they throw in some queso.

If you don‘t want to pay, enjoy your water until the food comes out.

It used to be free there. Just like bread used to be free at many Disney sit down restaurants (maybe it still is at a few?).

Before everyone has a meltdown, this is not the first time San Angel has charged for chips and salsa. That was a thing in the 2000’s. Bread service has bounced around too.

Noticed this a couple weeks ago too while at san angel. Pretty soon they will all start charging if you do so much as ask for a napkin. Its getting bad everywhere.
