What do you mean? Why did you purchase Annual Passes AND tickets?

I'm confused. An Annual Pass is a ticket, why would a ticket come with it? 
When you purchase an AP on-line, they send you a voucher which you exchange for your actual Annual Pass when you get to WDW. Unless you put tickets into the "shopping cart" on-line and then decided to buy APs instead without removing the original tickets?

The paper we printed had information on getting the tickets and annual passes. It said to go to the turnstiles to get the tickets, but I'm not sure if we should redeem our annual passes before getting our tickets into the park. If it matters we got the Southern California annual pass.
Did you get a voucher that will be magically turned into an annual pass?

Your annual passes are your tickets. First, redeem your annual tickets at the ticket booths. Once that part's over, all you have to do is go to the main entrance and give them your passes to swipe.
