Gate in front of China Pavilion

Need some info.

I was going over some OLD World's Fair Photo's from 2 Expo's. Expo 86 and Expo 88.

I noticed the gate in front of the Pavilion's it looks like the same one in front China in EPCOT?

Can anyone confirm this

Its simply a traditional Chinese gate, you can see the same type of gates used around the US to mark the entrance to Chinese districts. As well you can find them all over China to mark the entrance to temples, parks, etc....
