Im thinking of eating at the Garden Grill in Epcot on my trip. Yes or NO? please tell me if it's worth it. It sounds cool.

Also...........what about the restaurant in Norway of Epcot?

We've been a few times. We like (not love, but like) the food and the characters and the rotation over the land ride. It seems to be the calmest of all the character meals we've been to. The way the place is set up it's one of the calmest of all the places we've eaten at the World.

:slurp: As has already been said - Its not the best. BUT,
in my opinion it is worth every $$ - The food is good and ample portions, service is good and the characters are a bonus. I don't think that you can go wrong there.

I don't know about Garden Grill but the restuarant in Norway is not that good unless you really like fish and cold cuts because that's what it mostly is. Try Restuarant Markesh in Morocco there's never any one in there and the belly dancer is really entertaining! :)

Call the GG and ask if Rosie is working.:) If so make your reservation and when you check in ask for Rosie to be your CM.:D

GG is a nice quiet character lunch. Price is fair as they bring the food to you and you can eat as much as you want.:animwink: If you don't like something don't eat it and ask them to bring you more of what you do like.

I have eaten at the GG over 20 times with Rosie as my CM about 13-14 of those times. Never have I had any complaint. The characters will spend loads of time with you. Sometimes you have to chase them away so you can eat:lol:

Enjoy:cool:

You didn't specify if it was for a character breakfast or dinner. It's my favorite, without question, for character breakfast, but I've never been there for dinner.

The scenery is really cool and makes for a very unique atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the name though, the breakfast is fat piled on top of fat.:slurp:

Hum, $22 plus or minus a few cents for meal (all you can eat), drink and desert(you can eat two or three if you want) at GG or about $30 for the meal plus you pay for the drink and desert at Alfredos.

So it depends on what you want to eat, do you want charactors and how much do you want to spend.

Go to www.wdwig.com and get the menus, prices etc for all the resturants at WDW.

San Angel for me on 3/2.

:D :sohappy:

Me and my wife ate there last May and I thought the food was awful. Especially the flank steak. It was rubbery and it tasted really bad. I guess I didn't think it was worth the money. I know I'm the minority in my opinion, but we were disappointed.

If they are serving breakfast (don't know if they started that again) then I would go then. Get a really early PS and this way it isn't too crowded and you can get a view close to the windows so you can see Living with the Land. I think that Breakfast may be a better way to go at this place. I would rather go somewhere else for dinner. So if you do breakfast you can see the nice theming, get to see the characters (if it is early you can get some great photo opps., and have a good meal where you can get regular breakfast foods. Do dinner in other places.
