Attendance Figures for Fiscal Year 2006
URAYASU, CHIBA—The total combined attendance at Tokyo Disneyland Park and
Tokyo DisneySea Park for fiscal year 2006 (April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2007) amounted
to 25,816,000 persons, or 104.2 % of last year’s attendance.
This record figure for attendance, representing such a large improvement over last
fiscal year’s attendance figures (with total increase of 1,050,000 persons), is thought to be
due to a number of factors, including the success of various programs celebrating the fifth
anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea and the opening of the major new attraction Tower of
Terror.
Tokyo Disneyland Park likewise continued to present a variety of special events and
programs throughout the year showcasing its unique atmosphere and charms.
The Parks’ strategies were also aided by the record warm temperatures over the
winter, which gave added impetus to their drawing power and contributed to the high
attendance.
The number of days that both Parks were in operation during fiscal year 2006 was
365 days. Since Tokyo Disneyland Park first opened in April 1983, a total of
411,015,000 persons have visited the two Parks.

Cool. I think they were hit a bit last year by the World's Fair, but certainly those other factors helped as well. 25 million is at least the population of the Tokyo area.

so, I can safely assume that the Tokyo DisneY Resort is even more insular than the Disneyland Resort
