Future AK developement Poll

When talking about future AK additions, are you leaning toward animal based attractions (animal displays) or theme park type attractions? Let's hear form you.

Since it is called Animal Kingdom I think they should have a lot of animal displays and a few new rides!

I agree they should mix and match. Everything should be animal based but it should also be fun with maybe some more indoor (air conditioned) attractions.

half and half... since it's the Animal Kingdom, the theming has to stay with animals, and any new attractions should stick to the animal theme. new rides would probably increase the amount of visitors.

They could put in a section called "Distant Character Cousins."

Have rare rodent species that are fascinating to watch in a Mickey's photo-album type setting, some wild dog-types like Dingos for Goofy, all sorts of Ducks for Donald and Daisy. Heck, they could even have "Flouder's Fishie Friends" like stingrays and such in a nice aquarium expansion.

Well, if they were going to focus on FANTASY animals, such as Unicorns and Dragons ::Coughs::Beastly Kingdom:: excuse me!..::ahem:: I would hope that these attractions would be a ride based, with maybe some exotic creature displays put into the mix. I think animal kingdom has plenty of animals, and attractions that focus on them (even Dinosaur is an "animal attraction" since its focus is presenting EXTINCT animals). I think AK is due for some new animal based rides!!

The rides should try to incorporate both as much as they can. (except the thrill rides, basically)

Slow moving people mover types might be good for an arial view of different animal habitats, along with an informative narration, and some catchy music.

Mabey a Jungle Cruise type ride through the rivers of AK, or make its own "private" river. I just can't get over how beautiful those rivers are. The place looks just huge and endless looking out over those bridges, and seeing all those strategically placed waterfalls and stuff.

I think AK is already too much of a zoo, not enough disney, too many animals!

I voted mostly rides with a few animal attractions, but I really don't care as long as they do something. :lol: BK would be cool. I agree with JLW11Hi on the people mover idea. A no pollution people mover above the Savannah or through a whole new area or even going across parts of the park would be extremely cool. AK needs another 2 or 3 strong attractions to make it feel complete. The People Mover, a Darkride incorporating live animals, and a thrill ride would do wonders for AK.
