How FUN!!! EPCOT sounds like THE place to be!

I remember being at WDW for Christmas/NYE 1986-1987 and we stayed at the Contemporary - they had a special thing in the arcade for kids my age (I was 7). SO much fun.

If their fireworks are anything like their Holiday addition, everyone is in for a great treat! I am scheduling another trip down there for December next year after having viewed Epcot's fireworks a couple weeks ago. I have never seen any better fireworks than the awesome grand finale. I really like the MK Christmas Party ones too, but not as great as Epcot's.

It is a great show. It will be the same as in previous years - so should look something like:

And if you drive there, prepare for a long time to get out of the parking lots after midnight. Every year, you hear the stories of people who didn't get out of the lots for 2 hours. And I believe last year there was an accident just outside of EPCOT that made things even worse for a lot of people.

From what I read elsewhere, the DJ at Future World will be playing 85% Top 40 and 15% Futuristic. The DJ at China is playing Chinese/Asian/Top 40/Dance. The DJ at Italy is playing Euro Techno Pop and Top 40. The DJ's at American Gardens is playing 90% Latin and 10% Top 40. Finally, the DJ at United Kingdom is playing "British Invasion" meaning anything British from the 60's through today.

We went DTD 2 ears ago and was able to see all the fireworks from all the parks (barley mk) it was a great sight. We went last year and couldn't see them all!!! But as we passed Epcot, just after midnight, we could see all the dance party's going on, i told my family that next time that's where we are going! cant wait till i go sometime in the future!
