Frozen Live at the Hyperion reopens with new changes

Frozen Live at the Hyperion has resumed performances after being down for 2 weeks.

Not only was some work done as far as maintenance but the show has seen a rework.

First off, The "Soarin" part when the show begins has been changed so that we fly to Arendelle instead of the ice lake which fixes odd transition after Frozen Heart got cut. As a result, you're now greeted by a mountain landscape as you enter the theater

The funeral scene has been removed. Now Anna and Elsa just receive the news through letters. Anna does not wear her funeral wear anymore.

Some music changes throughout the show and updated backgrounds

Coronation scene modified

Instead of just the ice spikes being thrown at Anna and Kristoff to kick them out of Elsas Ice Palace, they finally use the ice doors that was just hanging around the theater for a long time but was cut before the show opened

The part where Sven takes Olafs nose has been reinserted in the show

Hans now actually gives 2 cloaks to two guests in the front row. Of course they don't get to keep them. The Dukes Bodyguards snatch them away from the guests as they leave the floor.

The changes appear to not have trimmed the show length down

That's good. There were a lot dead moments in that show. I think the ball room dance scene should be shortened too. We can't hear what Anna and the Prince are saying during it anyway.

I wish they would cover the facts that when the parent's ship sank they made it to land to build a tree house and have Tarzan. A leopard kills them and Tarzan is raised by gorillas. The shipwreck is also where Ariel found her dinglehopper.

I know it's a bit dark, but I thought the funeral scene translated really well in the show.
