If it was entirely up to me, they may close it for the rest of the time as well...
An arcade, no matter what kind is not in place in a Disney Park...

Greetz! :D

i would kind of miss it, if it wasnt there. There arent any theme parks around me with those anymore. I hope it stays forever.

Gotta love the nostalgic feeling of the Shooting Arcade. Not to mention that it's a warm spot in the Winter. God knows I'd look for refuge there every hour or so during my CP days!

Darn! My friend who is helping with my move has never been to WDW so I'm giving him a week down there when we drive down. It's going to be closed the whole time we are there, though. That's just one more thing he won't get to experience. Oh well, he'll have to come visit us sometime.

I'd close Tomorrowland Arcade in a heartbeat before Frontierland. . .

I've only done it once (when I was small) back when they used real pellets if my mind serves me well. Does anyone remember them using real pellets or am I dreaming?

Standard arcade fare. DDR(Disney edition), driving games, flight sims, sports games, etc. I prefer the classic games area at Disney Quest if I'm doing the arcade thing, though. You probably didn't notice the arcade in Space Mountain because when you exit the post-show moving walkway, you would have to just about do a 180º turn in order to see the full arcade area.

I am surprised that the Shootin Arcade is still around. Most parks have pulled them out due to the non-PC nature of Kids and Guns.

Not that I am the PC police, I would rather not everything have to be PC.....people who are so easily offended by a scene of pirates chasing women need to lighten up a bit, and learn to laugh.

I agree. People need to lighten up a bit. The only reason we never really did the arcade was you had to pay for it, not because you were shooting things.

Yup, they use to use real pellets. It caused a lot of upkeep though, the cast members had to repaint the whole shooting area every night, so they changed it to what it is currently.
