Frontierland Background music

Ive looked on Disney-Central and it says that one part of the Frontierland BGM is The song that was played in the end credits of Back to the Future III ... If i do remember correctly, i think i have heard it being played before.

I was just wondering if it actually is played... If it is that is weird because the BTTF Trilogy is Universal..

Davy Crockett is ONE song out of the many featured in the near-hourlong Frontierland Loop.

It's quite possible that these songs are heard elsewhere (i.e. BTTF) as they are folk/traditional songs.

But would they use the BTTF song at Disney? I thought since its a Universal film they wouldn't use it? :)

I spent two months working with that background, and I can honestly say I don't remember hearing the BTTF western theme. It WAS written for the movie and, therefore, it's Universal's. Actually, it was performed by ZZ Top, who have a cameo in the film as the band playing during the festival.

Chances are, if it WAS heard in BTTF, the film would have gotten it from an outside source as well. :)

Grizz. ... it was a originally written song to be used in BTTF 3 ... because it has the BTTF theme in a western version

I would reply, asking for the song title, or, if this is not known, song number on the track list...then I can do a little work and see if I can confirm/deny... :D

I know this is kinda off topic but yall got me thinking that what if they replaced the trains on BTM with the Delorean from part 3 and then you went around on the track with a finale of you getting to the end of unfinished track and making it back to 1985.That would be kinda cool. *ducks from gunfire*:lookaroun *runs*

LOL

but anywho, the more i thought about this... i realized, Univeral does not own that music. It is property of John Williams because he wrote it, so it is possible he could of sold it to disney....
