Oh yes, plan on spending at least $30 a day for each Universal park to skip the lines.

It's an extra thing. Have fun.

*tips cap* cheers mate - a bit bloody cheeky for them to do that aint it?! :drevil: looks like i can get a $15 ticket for universal and a $20 ticket for i.o.a so it doesnt seem *that bad* for myself and mrs cmatt *with fed ex delivery on top* it works out at around £50 on the nose for two days - not TOO bad as i would have to spend around that for one day at alton towers! good currency exchange atm - what can i say :p

I posted the prices below in another thread and am just copying them to here. If you are doing one park a day, it will cost you from $15.00 to $35.00 extra for the month of September, just find your date(s) of interest

Universal no longer provides its paying guests with the free express passes. By purchasing a pass, each pass will give you ONE front-of-the-line access to each of the participating attractions. For the days where it only costs $15.00 though, the crowds are usually so light on these days that buying the pass would be a waste. Its difficult to say for sure though. I suggest checking out how busy the park seems before purchasing one if you are going on one of those days...the downside of that is that they only offer a select number of express passes each day and they could potentially sell-out before you make your decision if you wait till the day of.

FOR ONE day, ONE park pass it will cost:

$15.00 on the following dates:

5/1 - 5/4, 5/7 - 5/11, 5/14 - 5/17, 8/27 - 9/1, 9/4 - 9/8, 9/10 - 10/6, 10/9 - 10/12, 10/15 - 10/20, 10/22 - 11/19 and 11/26 - 12/16/2006

$20.00 on the following dates:

5/5, 5/12, 5/18, 5/22 - 5/25, 8/20 - 8/26, 9/2, 9/9, 10/7 - 10/8, 10/13 - 10/14, 10/21, 11/20 - 11/23, and 12/17 - 12/25/2006

$35.00 on the following dates:
5/6, 5/13, 5/19 - 5/21, 5/26 - 6/19, 6/21 - 6/23, 6/25, 8/6 - 8/19, 9/3, and 11/24 - 11/25/2006.

$40.00 on the following dates:
6/20, 6/24, 6/26 - 8/5, and 12/26 - 12/31/2006.

For a ONE day/TWO park pass it will cost:

$25.00 on the following dates:
5/1 - 5/4, 5/7 - 5/11, 5/14 - 5/17, 8/27 - 9/1, 9/4 - 9/8, 9/10 - 10/6, 10/9 - 10/12, 10/15 - 10/20, 10/22 - 11/19, and 11/26 - 12/16/2006

$35.00 on the following dates:
5/5, 5/12, 5/18, 5/22 - 5/25, 8/20 - 8/26, 9/2, 9/9, 10/7 - 10/8, 10/13 - 10/14, 10/21, 11/20 - 11/23, and 12/17 - 12/25/2006
