From TL to DTD?

Just a quickie!

Is it possible to walk to Downtown Disney from's Typhoon Lagoon? I know it's close but are they any walkways?

I don't think so, I didn't see any and it's quite a twisty road that leads down to it from what I remember.

There are no sidewalks/walkways and Disney discourages walking from place to place. It's really safer to take the bus and there are lots of them.

I walked it once but it turned out to be a bad idea. No sidewalks, and in some places I had to walk in the roadway.

I took a taxi from TL to DTD once. It was about $3 and probably saved me 30 minutes or so.

Just make sure to check with the bus driver. Pretty much all resorts run a combined DD/TL route, but the routes change between the morning and the afternoon. Most will go to TL before DD in the morning (when most people on the bus are heading to TL), but stop at DD first in the afternoon (when most are heading back to the resort from TL).
