Trip Report From Miami to Orlando 9/30-10/4

Hi guys, I’ve been on the forums for awhile just have not posted much. I’m taking a nice little short trip with my good friend Ben. We are driving up to Orlando from Miami. This will be my first trip report, last Disney trip was in January with family.

People going - Snayberry (Me) best friend (Ben)
Hotel - Disney Swan (first time staying here)
Park reservations - 9/30(AK), 10/1(HS),
10/2(Epcot)

I will try to post lots of pics and update this as much as I can. Bear with me because I’ve never done one of these before.

We are officially on our way up and made our first rest stop. We are taking the Florida turnpike north.



We just made it to The Swan. I booked a normal no view room but the guy at the front hooked it up with a balcony room. That was very nice of him to do that. Now we are deciding if we can make it to AK or will we just go to a different park.

We just got back from Epcot and had a lot of fun. Here are some pics I took.


Got to see this as soon as we walked in.

Here is all the different foods I got to try.

Only got to ride Three Caballeros, Test Track and Soarin.

Very scenic walk back to the hotel. Time to shower up, get some dinner and watch the NBA finals. Let’s go Heat!

We made it to Hollywood Studios right at 10:55 am. The walk from Swan was nice and scenic. I managed to score a boarding pass for Rise, group 27. This will be our first time getting to ride it. Now about to get on TOT. Lots of people here today.

About to go ride Rise soon. Just hanging out around the park for now.

Just got back to the room after a nice day at Hollywood Studios. Rise definitely lived up to the hype and I loved it. We managed to wake up, get a boarding pass, ride Rise then go back to the hotel. We came back around 5pm to close out the park. We rode Aerosmith and Slinky Dog. Here are some pics from today’s adventure.

Thanks guys, been a wonderful trip so far. Today is the last day. Not sure if I will do Epcot again because it closes at 9 or go to AK instead. I went to have dinner at Domu last night one of my fav ramen spots, always visit when I come to Orlando. I also had breakfast at Garden Grove at the hotel. Here are some pics.
