From AK Lodge to Grand Floridian ?

What's the easiest way for us to get from The Animal Kingdom Lodge to our restaurant at The Grand Floridian? (We'll head to the MK after dinner).

(a) Drive from AK Lodge to GF, and then take the monorail to the MK... and monorail back from the MK to our car? (Can anyone park at the GF, or only Disney Hotel guests? We have some freinds who'll be with us who are staying outside the park).

(b)Ride the bus/Drive from AK Lodge to the MK, and then take the monorail to the GF and back?

I'm looking to save as much time as possible with this. Thanks. :)

I don't think you'll have a problem parking at GF. Drive from DAK Lodge to GF and park there. When you go through security, show them your PS confirmation and they should direct you where to go. You can take the monorail to MK then if you want...but make sure on your way back to get on the resort loop not the one that goes directly to the TTC.

No, you cannot pay to park at any hotel. However, you can't just show up and park at a hotel either. You used to be able to, but security has been beefed up something fierce.

It would be easiest if you all took one car to the GF and went from there, if that is possible. Unless, of course, your friends also have a copy of the reservation info, in which case it shouldn't be a problem at all to drive separately.

Also, as a side note, and if you're up for it, you should walk from the GF to the Poly after the MK closes. The Seven Seas Lagoon is nice at nighttime, and you might be able to catch the Electrical Water Pageant on the lagoon.
