Friends Question?

I was wondering what i should do. My friends and I are going to WDW for our senior trip! But i am the only one that has been there before (like 6 times). Should I let them choose what to do or tell them what to see or should I just go w/ the flow? We'll be there for 5 days so any suggestions would be great! Thanx!!

I say let them discover things for themselves but just be sure they don't miss great attractions just because they don't know what it is, and likewise let them know if something isn't worth the trouble (if there is a 30 minute wait for Body Wars for example).

Just a suggestion...since you are more familiar with Disney, if I was you I would sit down before you go with your friends and let them know what is available. Discuss what you all want to do before you go. The first trip I made to Disney (and I went with my mother, who had just returned a week earlier with friends)...I had no idea and was totally overwhelmed. Thank goodness my mom had just returned and had some sense of what was there. I felt like a small child in a candy store, I wanted to do everything at once. I had no idea which way to turn. When you get to Disney in that frame of mind, it is possible to get so frustrated so fast...not having the knowledge you do. I would say, make a plan with your friends before you go. Let them know what is at each park, what rides and attractions you are interested in as a group (or split groups) and what to do after the parks close. Decide where you want to meet if you split up and where to dine. Just have a plan of "attack" before you leave home and then use it as a guide. Impromptus are great also, but if you don't have some idea...you all may be wandering around wasting precious Disney time when you get there. Hope this helps....and if all else fails...have plently of books and maps on hand. They really help the Newbies! Have a great trip  .

I'd ask them which they would like, or just give them some suggestions as to what you think is good... but I think they'd probably appreciate it if you would help them out... That way they get to see more of the 'good stuff'!!! :p

I did the same thing last year. Some things I have been on that I don't particularly like and htey want to see of course we'd go on. But generally I knew where the shortest waits were and the best rides, so for the most part the plan was up to me. Normally I'd suggest a rough gameplan on the bus going to whichever park and theyd approve or not approve certain rides. And to save money we only ate one meal a day because the portions are large anyway. They nicknamed me "pointman" or "leader" for the trip. We had a fantastic time, and are always talking about the trip. I hope you have a great time!! (you will no matter what ;-) )

let them wing it, its not like they can see any of this stuff outside disney, everything they see will be a new expierience for them. now theres a couple must do's as im sure you know. haunted, mansion, test track, rock n roller coaster, tower of terror ALL the mountains. they may not enjoy world showcase though plus thats very time consuming, i only like it for the norwegian girls.

you can forget about seeing everything you know that! but they will definitely have fun no matter what

Do not hang out at the parks w/ classmates who think they are "too cool" or do not like rides, but prefer taking in the sights and sitting on the benches. They will bring you down and be annoying, even if they are friends, hahaha.

a bit of safety advice though AVOID ITALY if you do find yourself in the world showcase, the guys are relentless, a class full of 18 year old girls is like fresh meat to a shark. so if you needs like i dunno a guy to hang out and stand guard im there! just kiddin my girl would KILL me

I say be the leader of the Pack. You tell them wut they should do or not do. if your there for 5 days though you can do just about anything.
or
You can make and itenerary. if they are on a senior trip they most likely dont want to do that much. unless they are very childish.

wut ever you do ,it is thier 1st time to go to the most magical place in the world. dont ruin it but dont let them ruin it for them selves.

When I went to Grad Nite, all my friends knew I'd gone to WDW a bunch of times, so they all just followed me... I didn't really lead, but I said, we can go here and here and here if you want... :D
