Did the sheriff arrest him? I mean what happened to get him arrested?

Yes, the Sheriff arrested him. They were going to hang him to get Robin Hood's attention (which it did) but R.H. ended up saving Friar Tuck What "The Adventurer" said is the reason why he got arrested.

Did the friar lose the fight or something with the sheriff to get arrested?

Is it really that important? Obviously if he won the fight he wouldn't have gotten arrested...

Odd. Why are there two thread for the same subject? This isn't extraordinary usually, but this is an odd thread to have doubles of. Anyway, I gave an explaination of the arrest and fight in detail in the other thread, and the reason for him being hanged was already explained here.
