French Quarter????

Is the Port Orleans-French Quarter going to be open soon? I just ran through the Walt Disney reservation site for 10/09/04-10/16/04, and FQ popped up as a choice to book in October. When is the official re-opening date? And, If it is open, Which of the Port Orleans resorts should I book? Please advise!!!!

I heard that it will be reopening in March. I have stayed at both resorts, and my personal favorite is the FQ. If you like a smaller hotel, but less pools and everything alittle calmer, go FQ. If you like multiple pools, and don't mind walking/have a car, go for RS.

FQ is my favorite BY FAR!!!! It's very peaceful and beautiful but still had the city feel and is more contained and easy to get around. Either way, though, you can't go wrong

Yeah, French Quarter is nicer, IMHO. It was so quiet, we stayed in Building 15, I believe. Quiet, short walk to the main building and bus stop, pool/laundry was close.... so nice!

Personally, I enjoy both POR and POFQ. I think that the moderate resorts are 100 times better than the value resorts. They are definitely worth the extra money.
