French Quarter or Caribbean in November?

FQ hands down.

The layout, restaurants, entertainment and transportation at Carribean Beach are just not good.

FQ is smaller, has better food options and entertainment as well as water access to Disney Springs.

Do you think the Gondola will help with transportation issues to at least the 2 parks connected?

Possibly, but even with that, I would probably still go with FQ over CB.

The layout of CB is just way to spread out. It seems to take forever to get anywhere inside that resort. This can be mitigated if you have a car and plan for minimal use of the amenities of the resort, but I would never stay there without a car. Even with one, I would still prefer to stay at a value and save the money vs staying at CB.

POFQ, on the other hand, has a much nicer, almost quaint feel to the place. It is easy to get around the resort, and the entertainment options at FQ and its sister resort Riverside are much better.

I will play devils advocate. I absolutely love FQ and agree with what was said to defend it, however Caribbean also has its pros:

FQ pros: Extremely charming (I prefer the theme over Caribbean), compact, good quick service restaurant, 1 bus stop whereas CB has multiple stops.

Caribbean pros:
-Both pools look fun but i'd give CB the edge for the fort, I find FQ's pool a bit tacky. Plus I hear good things of the banana cabana bar/casual food place by the pool. Plus, CB has multiple pools, FQ has the main one.
- More food options. I mentioned the pool bar but there is a sit down restaurant, Sebastians which I love, plus another quick service with delicious food near the quiet pool and the quick service in the lobby.
-Gondola: quick transportation to DHS and Epcot- if youre going to the parks a lot, this might be a helpful transportation option.
-Newly remodeled rooms that look stunning! (FQ is undergoing room renovations as well to be fair)
- Newly remodeled lobby, which I love.

we’ve stayed at FQ 2 years in a row (2017-18) & are returning there this october. we’ve never stayed at CB. just too big of a resort for our taste.
FQ is small & compact. no matter where your room is, it’s a 3-4 minute walk to everything. except if u decide to walk over to POR.
the rooms were recently renovated with some nice touches & there is boat transportation to disney springs if u plan on going there. enjoy your trip.

Your choice and why/why not
3 people - me wife & 9 y/o daughter

I've stayed at CB, and may stay again this spring - and I'm tossing around a stay at CB or Riverside. (Which I stayed at ages ago when it was Dixie Landings.
A couple of things about CB:
Yes, it is sprawling in some aspect, but so what?
If that bothers you - get a room closer to the food and pool area.
The Gondola.
When we stayed at CB perhaps 8 years ago, it got quite annoying being that the bus was the only way to hit the parks.
But the ease at which the Skyliner will allow access to and from Hollywood Studios and Epcot cannot be dismissed.
I'd rather stay at Riverside, but that Skyliner...
