Hello!! I was recently at Epcot and ate at Chefs de France. I got the cheese platter as an appitizer and was wondering if anybody was aware of the specific cheese on this platter. They were soooo fabulous that I want to search for them in stores. If anybody can help let me know.

France is known for many cheese, and reading around for the menu online, it just says imported cheeses - so it probably is whatever they have at the time.

As for buying cheese, I recommend igourmet.com

Browse the cheeses, see if anything looks familiar, and then buy till your heart's content.

What I would think would be classic "french" cheese candidates, check out their selection of french cheeses:

Brie is almost a given, and I wouldn't doubt you might of had the Abondance.

thank you for your input and website. I too did look at menus and you are probably right about it changing often. We definaly had brie I know that much. We had some sort of goat cheese, swiss cheese and one the had an orange rind and tasted slightly like cheddar. My boyfriend and I really want the cheddar like one. France was one of the best meals we've ever had and the cheese plate was to DIE for. We are just trying to recreate a nice moment for ourselves. I'm thinking of calling Disney and having them connect me to the resturant
