Hey Disney loverz!Wuzzzzzzup? Anywho, My dad got like Seven free tickets from an employe that works at Disney (My dad owns a business, so the guy gave him tickets instead of money for work). The tickets each have a picture of a peson on the back. I think that the pix are the employes who got the tickets. There supposed to be a single day park hopper. Does anyone know how I would go about using these? I know they dont ever expire until you use them. But they are really confusing.

weird.. I've never seen comps with a CM picture on them.. and I'm also trying to figure out how many CM's get 7 comps with the same design... or get comps that don't expire... or trade them for services, even though thats a terminable offence.

sounds fishy to me... your dad may have gotten gypped

The comps I get as a campus rep and have seen are just like the one day tickets (a character on them). I think your dad better re-examine them to find out if they are authentic. I'd be careful in dealings with Disney, what he did isn't allowed.

Yeah, a while back my husband's step-brother, who works at Disney got us in for several days. We had to meet him, though, every morning at the park we wanted to be in, and he could only let two people in on his ID at a time. He had to bring his secretary with him, so she could let my two daughters in. They actually had to walk in with us.

I know it was a few years ago, and they might not do it like that anymore. We asked him if there was some kind of pass, so he wouldn't have to meet us everyday, and he said no, but he didn't mind, because he got to leave work for a while.:sohappy: :sohappy:

I would say those are real tickets. I've recieved these passes and they work just like regular tickets. Just stick em in the machine and out they come on the other side. Make sure you take em with you so you can get fast passes too. Treat them as a 1 day park hopper pass.

as for what they look like. White card with one side with "Not for sale" and the other side with a name, expiration date, another "not for sale", an issue date, and some other numbers and letters.

oh yeah.. they're good. The ones that expire in Dec are the old style ones. Word of advice tho.. edit the post where you described them and erase the WTS... code. If WDW IT has read this thread, you may have accidentally gotten a CM in a buttload of trouble.

I think they deserve to be in trouble.

CM tickets are not to be sold or bartered.

It was spelled out pretty blatantly on the forms you have to sign in order to get them.

So, i say he/she deserves whatever he gets.

Then again, i'm the type of person who thinks everyone with a multi-day ticket should have to use the biometric scan so people cant sell tickets on Ebay.

Sorry, but stealing is stealing.

hmm... so when a person pays for a ticket, and the ticket becomes their private property, it is stealing to share your own private property with another?...

oh, and Rob.. you've been a CM for how long now? 2 months.. the ordeal w/ CM's giving comps away for favors has been going on for a long time. If they are NOT sold for cash, it is fine to give them away... for ANY reason

Oh, and Tigger..

I like my job, management doesn't hate me, and I don't have a grudge againt the company and go out of my way to make sure people have a good time on their vacation.

What do you do? Sit around and gripe and complain and then do things you know are against the rules? I understand giving away comps, that's sort of the point, but bartering them is wrong.

I don't go around using my No Strings to give my friends free plushes so they can sell them on Ebay.

I'm sorry, i'm not a jerk with zero morals.. like some people we know..

I think (know) the IRS would have a very different outlook! As to private property, Disney puts a lot of restrictions on the use of tickets. If you don't agree, you don't have to buy the ticket. Disney has the right to revoke your ticket (and mine) at any time they wish if you violate their provisions. Sorry, but private property has nothing to do with this conversation. If you buy a ticket from Disney then you have a contract. A Disney ticket is not "private property".

so do I. If you're accusing me of anything, make sure it's true. Yes, I do have problems with Disney and with a few members of my overinflated management team, but they stay between me and the company/management. The guests always get 110% from me.

Making up lies about people is not a good thing to do. Remember how you got banned from intercot... I wonder if the same can happen here? You don't spend 5 years with the same company while breaking rules at the same time. I wouldn't have lasted 1 if I did that. I wonder how long you'll last with the company, E-Stop Rob (ok.. that was childish, but still funny

can you say 1 (ONE) comment that is true? Just one. That's all I ask. I haven't had a no-strings card in my hand since 2000.

last time I checked, lying wasn't morally good. The mirror goes both ways, Rob.

I think it's time to change my name, since it has been soiled.

Oh.. Whatever..

I purposely worded it so that it does not directly attack anyone, just a general "jerk" type person.. with certain qualities that you seem to think someone has...

I wonder if that's a coincidence...

I said that the ticket is private property. The piece of paper, w/ a barcode in the back (btw- wdw is going to plastic, credit card stlye tickets soon. They hold up better in pockets and in bad weather), is private property WHEN not being used in the parks.

I do apologize for my mistake though.

There you go. Lying again. Here you are saying that you didn't attack me, but here I quote you with:

What do you do? Sit around and gripe and complain and then do things you know are against the rules? I understand giving away comps, that's sort of the point, but bartering them is wrong.

And seeing how the thread was addressed to me, and me only, that is a personal attack. If you're gonna attack me, do so with facts. Your lies will not hold up, seeing that I can disprove every one of them.
