Free gift card

We received our Disney travel package, and it says the gift card will be given to us at the resort. That is very clear and understandable. But it says in the package to bring some paperwork to claim it. I do not find a voucher in the package for it. But the gift card is mentioned in our itinerary. Is the itinerary all that is needed?

Has anyone ever gotten one of the "free gift cards"? What was your experience for receiving it, etc...

It surprises me that they did not give a voucher for it. They gave vouchers for everything else we are supposed to get, and even gave extra vouchers that give discounts on other things.

I have done a gift card promotion a couple of times they have never had a voucher with it. I always assumed that it was to avoid the problem of a guest leaving it at home. Most people would not care that much about a $15 voucher for Planet Hollywood getting left at home but a $500 gift is a little different.:lol:
