I apologize if this was posted elsewhere and I didn't see it.

Walt Disney World and Disneyland are giving everyone a free ticket valid only on their birthday at either WDW or DL. If you are an AP holder or have a multi-day pass, there are options for you as well, but it is only valide on your birthday.

You have to register with the Disney site and you will receive an email confirmation prior to your birthday which you need to bring along with your ID.

Welcome to the boards, I think this new celebration campaign is going to be good, I may not be eligable to get my free park ticket on my Birthday but that $75 could buy me a couple of nice shirts.

Disney Parks would LOVE it if you decided to go back during your birthday in 2009!! In fact, they'll give you something free if you do!

Is the gift card good anywhere in The Kingdom? :shrug:Resturants too?

If so, that would a cool way to try some of the more pricey resturants that my wallet, in its current state, cannot support.

Probably will be but we likely won't know for sure until they start giving some out in 2009.

The birthday fun card can only be used for merchandise. They specify it can't be used for dining or for the purchase of Disney Dollars or Disney Gift Cards. You can see the Birthday Fun Card terms and conditions at http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/birthdayFunCard/index

Of course, it can indirectly pay for a nice meal...use the fun card balance to buy some of the souvenirs you would normally be buying anyway and shift that money to your dining budget. ;)

Sarcasm?? Nah, it's called common sense, and using the search function or hell, just reading the board in general:rolleyes:!

Yes, you should read several thousands pages before posting a new thread.

Many, or even most, of the thread titles are misleading when it comes to the content of the thread.

To the original poster: This thread is no worse than anyone who starts a "Woohoo,-I-just-booked-and-can't-contain-myself" thread in general discussion. Welcome.

:)Tomorrow is my birthday....guess I have to wait an entire year to go for free. But then, it's not really free when I have to pay for everyone else, food, accommodations...etc., That's ok....I still love Disney!

No, just read the first post in the thread and you would have the info right there.
