Free dining

Has anyone heard that Disney has offered free dining for Thanksgiving week?
I booked my trip for that week in Jan and made my adr's at the 180 mark. I just talked to someone that is going the same days i am going and they claim that they got free dining, i have never heard of that on a holiday week. i checked Disneys web site and looked at all of the specials and see nothing. Can anyone confirm this or is this person full of bull?:shrug:

Do you know when that person is checking in?

I think if you check-in the Friday before Thanksgiving for a vacation that whole week, you qualify for free dining during that week.

If you check-in after that Friday through the Sunday after T-day, you can't get it because that's the blackout dates.

If your check in date is between 11/13-11/19 or 11/27-12/3 then you can get free dining. Otherwise you will need to move your dates, split your stay or look for another promotion.

As long as you check in during the time frame that the discount is offered, you will get the free dining for the length of your stay

Maybe they got a free dining pin code with no restrictions.. I got one last year the week of Veteran's Day in Nov.. Free Dining was not offered to the "public" but my pin code allowed me get it.
