is this the first time disney has ever offered the free dining option?? its a really good deal for them to be offering during th esummer months when there are more corwds..do you guys think they will ever offer it again in maybe a less busy time of the year? i love going to dinsey and would love to go for the free dinign plan but dont really want to go when theres alot of crowds and the tempatures are that high! and as a university student with a tight budget and young disney fanatic wanting to go back next year in feb, april, or may do you guys think there is any chance of free dining then??

They offered it last year during the fall when the plan started. They are not offering free dining during the summer... only from mid August to Sept 30. I think the chances of it being offered for free again are low...but the chances of them offering it anytime between March and August are practically nil. February, they possibly could, but I highly doubt it.

The "Magic Your Way plus FREE Dine" discount offer is available for travel dates August 13 - Sept 30, 2006. Typically this period is one of the slowest times of the year.

The Spring Break period for Walt Disney World begins around the second or third week of February and lasts through the week of Easter. This typically is the second most popular time of year, (the first would be Christmas week itself) so very few if any promotional discount offers will be released during this time. Remember, Disney's spring break period needs to encompass the spring break of every College and Grade School across the country.

If you are thinking "this is a good time to go, the kids are off/I have a holiday" odds are somebody else does too. Who goes on vacation the first month of school. Not many families. That's why this time is when the deal is offered.

This is also the height of hurricane season and I am sure Disney is worried that after last year people will not plan trips in the Aug/Sept time frame in case 2006 is a repeat of 2005.

Exactly why I can go during slow times, no rug rats to hold me back. :lol:
